The Croust Hut
Today I went to King Edward Mine for lunch at the Croust Hut with R and B. Tin was mined here in the 1800s but these days King Edward Mine is a museum of metalliferous mining and associated technologies (and B is a volunteer helper). The site has also been a training facility for students of the Camborne School of Mines, enabling them to practice using rock drills etc. Lunch was delicious. I intended to take some more pictures afterwards but when we came out it was pouring with rain.
