Festive City Square Dundee

Had 25 mins to waste before my bus home from town after my bus pass day out to St Andrews with my friend so walked up
to the Overgate and picked up some PJs for my sister’s Christmas (thought it was time to start….)
We had a great day out despite the off/on rain. Had brunch in the Northpoint Cafe (where Kate met Wills apparently) half stack of pancakes with maple syrup - delicious. Then we spent a couple of hours mooching round the shops and picked a couple of bargains from the charity shops before we felt the need for tea and cake. Found a lovely wee coffee shop called Gorgeous and we had a lovely cuppa and delicious cake. I had Victoria Sponge and my friend had Citrus and Almond Cake. It’s a very small space and not long after we got there a couple came in and sat across from us and proceeded to get a bit too amorous for comfort. Got the feeling the bloke agreed with us as he was drumming his feet on the floor so hard that our cups were rattling in the saucers. Luckily a gaggle of girls came in just after them and their chatter and laughter was so loud we couldn’t chat without shouting at each other so we finished up and left.
