Wednesday: Postcards from the Past

Today’s Blip is a little bit of reminiscing from my days at the University Computing Laboratory (as it was called back then!), when any of the staff went away they would send postcards back “home”.

As you may remember back in the summer one of my Big Sisters sadly passed away. Today’s Blip is a few of the cards I sent back from holidays. A box full of postcards from numerous members of staff from all over the world found its way to me a couple of months ago, sent by M’s cousin - this is a reminder to myself to meet up with The Tuesday Gang again and to share the memories that these cards brought with them :-)

Today’s weather was mild and wet and very still. I did some reading, planted some more garlic (because it was sprouting), cut back the Inula stems - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2739958749765567470 - refilled the bird feeders a couple of times and enjoyed the company of the dozens of wild birds visiting the garden :-)
