We'd booked to go to a Christian concert in Edinburgh today and decided to try and combine it with a visit to friends who moved to edinburgh 18 months ago.
They suggested we might like to join them in a 5k race around The Meadows in the middle of the day - so we did.
We arrived in time for a cuppa and a snack before we went to the run and the 4 of us managed to win 3 age group prizes, bottles of wine (though they had to be reminded about me!).
Back to their flat for lunch, a shower and catch-up before heading to Charlotte Chapel for the concert (we'd been to the Chapel once before but it had moved since then) and we were lucky to find parking just round the corner. The blip is of part of the ceiling, it's actually pale green, not blue, but there were blue lights on.
The concert was excellent.
