Chimney sweep

Yesterday the chimney sweep came. We don’t often have a fire in this room, but we lit one a few weeks and it smoked badly, so we booked a date. He was very efficient and tidy, and it was all done in half an hour, I took a photo of him with his lovely bright yellow vacuum cleaner. Sadly there was some hitch and I lost the photo, so no blip yesterday.
When we had the chimney swept when we first came to the house in 1967, it cost 10/- (50p). Yesterday it was £75.
