Main activity: Wed - packing, cleaning, animals and little bit of work
Notes: Up and the animal routine first thing - inside and out to the horses. All went well. Had coffee, started laundry and spent the morning cleaning and packing, putting some in the car, finalizing some things. I'm going to miss these sweet cats for sure! Gizmo climbed into my lap numerous times yesterday and again this morning. Feels like I've been here quite awhile and easily made the place mine ... but also feels like the time flew and really not ready to do another drive and move again. Came to a stopping point then early afternoon and went for a bit of work but there wasn't a lot ready to go there either so decided to try to rest for a bit. Laid on the couch and was a bit before Gizzy came over and ended up sleeping on my chest for awhile - so sweet! I didn't get a pic of that but this is her w/ me in the chair. We rested then until almost 3p. I got up and did a bit more packing and cleaning up. Around 4p then, got very dark and I decided I needed to get the horses in. Went out, got their hay and was calling for them - they thundered up on their own (first time like that!) as just as they got under cover, the downpour started! I still had to close the gate but felt like great timing! Came back in and warmed up my small meal that I made extra of last night, put the fridge cooler together. Still hadn't heard from Cami all day to let me know if flights and such were on time, if they still planned on driving back tonight. I finally texted Scott ~430p (they were supp to land 515p) to see if I could get some response. I finally heard 615p that they were back and should arrive at the house ~9p. I went ahead and did the horses a bit early - was kind of weird to know it was the last time. Showered then and packed up both fridge and freezer stuff so it'd be easy to just pop in coolers in the morning. Relaxed then, they pulled in 850p - exhausted and she's still pretty sick. Stayed up and chatted a little and then we all went to bed.
