Green up high

I posted yesterday's PEACE ON EARTH display late. Have a look if you are so inclined, and thanks to those who already have.

The theme for Wide on Wednesday is green. I decided that palm trees were green and with the pretty sky, why not! Thanks to Steve for hosting.

You may remember that last Thursday I had a root canal. I went to my regular dentist this morning (at what felt like the crack of dawn) to get a permanent filling to replace the temporary.  After telling him that it was still uncomfortable, he had me reschedule it for next week, the day before Christmas. I had been invited to go out with two separate groups of people for a Christmas Eve lunch, which I will now have to cancel due to numbness. Bummer.
I also went to the cardiologist for a routine follow-up.  Took all of 5 minutes after waiting 45. Come back in six months. Kind of killed the afternoon after driving both ways.  I'll find something more positive to do this evening, maybe watch "Elf," a Christmas movie I love.
