Village Life
Not sure it would suit me but I am happier in a small town then I ever was in a big city. A hatful of happy results from the kiln today. The village came out well and the three pieces that I made at mum's when I was last there are also looking good.
I popped into pottery for an hour before heading to Kings for a tasty Talyllyn Christmas lunch with friends and colleagues. By the time that was over the rain had arrived and as I write this eight hours later it's still coming down, heavier than ever right now. Nice to catch up with a few folk.
The rest of the day spent at home, packing for ten days away and making a bit more order in the house. Just about ready to go on tomorrow's adventure which will end in London, back at mum's. I'm glad that I have already stayed there when she was not there, glad also that others in the family will be there too and we'll have a bigger get together over the holiday period.
