Made a Start

I started wrapping this morning but then had a message to say the only time to collect my SiL’s 80th birthday present was today so I dashed off to Presteigne only to find the road was closed at Lucton. I don’t know that area so relied on my satnav which sent me on a long detour, a 30 minute journey took over an hour. I hope she likes the gift, I’ll blip it nearer the day.
I got home just in time for the Tesco’s delivery & after I’d put that away I went back to wrapping. We don’t send as many gifts as we used to so I’m almost done.
Daughter J came over later & we had spagbol with orzo (instead of pasta) which husband J found easier to swallow.
