Beautiful Sunny Morning!

I got out for a walk (finally!) at the Orenco Woods Nature Center - one of my favorite places to walk. It was a gorgeous, sunny and almost warm morning. However, yesterday's rains flooded so many places, including the road to my house, the back 9 of the golf course (on which I live), and some of the pathways at the Nature Center. I took this blip from the bridge that passes over Rock Creek in the center. If you look closely, you can see where the creek has expanded into the undergrowth on the side. Rock Creek is also responsible for flooding the golf course and the road, although it's several miles away from the nature center. 

I love it when the back 9 floods because it means that there are no golfers. Not that I mind them, far from it, but without them I feel like I live on an estate with amazing views and no people!

I had a wonderful massage this afternoon, and had planned to go to Pilates but I was way to relaxed by the time I got home to even consider it ;-)
