The Winter Informance

Tonight we all traipsed back to school at 5:00 to set up for the evening. There was a potluck, then the band played and the choir sang. After all that the kids had stations around the gym where they taught a variety of music works that they do in class. The hallway was also decorated in candle light and a Solstice spiral was at the end. It was a huge shindig and the kids all did very well. 
I decided to eat before I went. I wasn't going to trust potluck food with all the sickness that has been going around. 
I'm wiped out but it was a good evening. Tomorrow, during school, is the culmination of the semester of studying Africa. There will be presentations, artwork and songs. More on that tomorrow. Now it's time for bed.
