Had four hours sleep but we are only here till Friday evening so no hanging around! As the hotels are low season we booked a Junior Suite for less than the price would normally pay for a big standard double room outwith the low season. We are on the top floor as the end of a corridor so it’s very quiet (I always request this), also booking direct with hotel was much cheaper than any of the hotel sites. Starting to find this more so. First stop was breakfast of coffee and croissants and a little cafe near the hotel. It’s owned by a lovely guy from Limerick. He was a schoolteacher of English in Seville then retired and then opened this little Cafe. We had a good old chat with him. Plenty of talk - the Celtic nations love a blether !

Finished, We walked over the Isobel bridge from the Triana side and down by the river watching all the activity on the water. It’s a lovely walk and lots of joggers. It was a lovely sunny day too, around 11 degrees at 1030.

First stop was a tour of the bullring. The building is stunning but unfortunately it’s not just a museum there are still bull fights taking place here.

Next up was a second coffee and sugar snack! Sat in a cafe next to the cathedral where I went in February and had a coffee and a very light waffle with ice cream and cream. Yum!

A nice walk round the Old Town. It’s not very busy , I’d say it’s a good time to come .

Time for lunch. Found a good restaurant up by the University which used to be the old tabacco factory. Lebanese food is one of my very favourites and this one was fabulous. We sat outside and shared a delicious salad and one of the specials which was chicken based.

Next up was an explore of the Tabaco factory which has much of the ground floor open to visitors. I am sure I could still smell it! It’s a fab building to be a student, and so close to Seville centro.

Next we walked up to the beautiful Plaza de España https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plaza_de_Espa%C3%B1a,_Seville built in 1928 for the Expo! What a place this is I believe was used in Game of Thrones. Spent a good time here and watched flamenco buskers along with their band.

Walked back down the same strip where the Beirut restaurant was a stopped for a Turkish tea and baclava. Starting to flag a bit……. But not giving in!

More walking and enjoying seeing the lovely Christmas decorations in the public spaces.

What was I saying about not giving in??? Hit a wall. Noticed there was a bus going over the Triana side near us and hopped on and the stop was outside our hotel. Had a cuppe in the room and then out to the Carrefour Express next door for the staples, Lays crisps, milka chocolate, blueberries and biscuits! That’s tea sorted.

We were EXHAUSTED quite quickly and sleeping by 9pm!!!
