upside-down spider

I'll admit that I get rid of flies and mosquitoes if they're in my apartment, but not spiders. This spider was in my apartment's bathroom and I haven't had the heart to do away with its web. Maybe at some point I will, but for now this spider is hanging out in my bathroom. If anyone knows of a reason why I should get rid of this web, please just let me know. I think the web will actually keep the flies away from me!
