Bramble flowers

English people call them Blackberries. I always went brambling to the woods with my Granny, and when we got home she boiled them up with sugar and poured the mix into the jelly bag. We always had enough bramble jelly to last till the bramble season came round again. Her tip was that you must never squeeze the bag, or the jelly would not be as clear.
I have that same jelly bag made from flannel and hopefully there will be a good crop of brambles.
