Walking the dog
I have accompanied my SiL on her daily dog walks since my arrival here. Walking two beagles, each nose to the ground and always sniffing and attempting to eat or lick anything interesting, must be a daily challenge, so I’ve taken one of the leads. I have been practicing taking a photo with my phone in one hand, whilst the beagle is attempting to pull me in another direction entirely. The leads get continuously tangled up.
This morning, a walk around the part of Charlecote Park that dogs are allowed into, albeit on leads. The main image is across the River Avon towards Hampton Lucy’s parish church. The extra is the chapel on the edge of the park, a short section of the rather fabulous chestnut paling that surrounds the park, and a beagle straying into shot.
This afternoon I headed into Stratford, and then this evening it’s the pub quiz.
