I thank you all very much for your kind comments lately.
We came home from the country about a week and a half ago and go back there in the end of this week. My mother is still in the health center ward. She's much better, but still much more confused than before getting there.

The time here in Helsinki we have been busy with big changes in our own life regarding our need for help in everyday life. Despite we have less private life and hurry we have stuck to our Christmas tradition for example my  date cake Dec 30th, '22 and a Finnish Christmas pastries made from puff pastry usually in the shape of a star and filled with prune jam (posted before Nov 25th, '22 and Dec 1th, '23). And of course "tonttus", Christmas elves, have to be taken from the storage to be with us some time although we are away from home just for Christmas Days.

We both had a hair cut. Today I had a podiatry. Christmas can come now.
The picture is from the place I have my podiatry. As last year when I was there at about the same time a year there was starting Christmas Celebration for the remaining Finnish war veterans and their families.
