Le Vendredi Danse

Finished the mincemeat this morning. It smells divine - hope it tastes as good!

To the monthly French dancing session this afternoon - le Vendredi Danse. (OK, so it's Saturday, but that's when le Vendredi Danse is held in these parts!) A good, fun session with a fuddle too, lots of cake and cheese and suchlike. Must have been a difficult dance when I took the photos, as it looks as though several people have opted to sit out.

While MrM was out at a friend's birthday meal this evening, I made Florentines. They seem to have turned out quite well, but the test will be how many are eaten tomorrow!
