For the record.

       Yesterday on our trip out the handle broke; or, more accurately re-broke.  I have NO idea if she was Freda, or Frieda but I inherited her Sticks, from Clicky and managed to break, and relatively successfully (until today) repaired it.
       As my hand will be covering most of it and I had no black to hand I used a white FIXIT©, leaving the Orange only now.  It's a hard, thermoplastic substance as hard as the stick handle.
SO
       This is my version of "Glue and screw".  Only time will tell?
