Christmas Trees

In every room of the Mansion at Attingham Park National Trust property near Shrewsbury where Mr HB and I have been this afternoon.

As ever, all the beautifully decorated trees telling their stories were brilliant so it has been difficult to choose a favourite but this year it was the Book Tree in the Inner Library for me.  The tree is made entirely of books with lots of paper folding on view too. 

Lovely enthusiastic Volunteers on hand to engage with and a thoroughly nice 4 hours spent to get us in the Christmas spirit .....  and in the diningroom there was a tree made totally out of empty wine bottles, apparently reliably sourced, or previously drunk by those lovely volunteers!!
