Staring out to sea.
Today we went to Staithes and then Whitby.
Staithes was to see where CBeebies film Old Jack's Boat, and it was a great excuse to get Ciarán out in the fresh air.
Had a lovely ice cream, and we just wandered slowly round the harbour.
Saw this face in the cliff; but no idea how long it will be there for as there is some monster cracks running through the cliff.
On to Whitby and the weather stayed really good until we were getting ready to leave and then the heavens opened.
I was annoyed, as I wanted to go into the Sutcliffe gallery but it is closed on Monday.
If you ever get a chance to go and have a look you should. Frank Sutcliffe was a photographer in Whitby taking photo's between 1875 and 1910. No digital photo's for him.
I some of his prints at home, but would have liked to have picked up a few more for the house back home.
Luckily the bakers shop of Bothams was open, so bought 8 packets of ginger snaps, to take back home.
