A sky of Lapwings

Sunny and frosty today! Extra layers required for my little walk! But it was very quiet at the nature reserve - saw a few stonechats, goldfinches, robins, meadow pipits, kestrel (probably why it was so scarce of smaller birds!), geese and had  a lovely murmuration display by hundreds of lapwings which was amazing to watch!
