Imogen

This is Granddaughter Imogen home from University for Christmas. Her birthday was yesterday the first of 6 family birthdays between 19th December and 4th January, only one of which am I actively  responsible for. I popped into see her today before the family leave for Christmas at their house at Rannoch although Daughter#2 will still have to work on Monday and Tuesday.

I was surprised to see a balconist appear at 8:30 this morning. Apparently it has paid off to tell the gaffer that if the scaffolding was to stay put over the Christmas period, the least he could do was to get someone to clean up my patio which was full of rubble and discarded rubbish. While it is hardly perfect now, at least most of it is clear. Goodness knows when the workmen will be back. They have been on the job of waterproofing the 3 balconies above me for 2 months but since they only seem to work for 2 days a week they are getting nowhere fast.

And here we are at Friday again with the sortie in an hour to the Marriott and the weekly debriefing with the neighbours. It’s always a lovely precursor to the weekend
