Flower Friday

Hard to believe that there are roses still flowering in my garden, and there have been frosts. But you have two today, the main image I haven't a name for as it was here when we moved here 20years ago. The extra is one of the newer ones from David Austin, Scarborough Fair. 

Final aerobics class this morning, where most of us dressed up in Christmas tee shirts etc. It was the usual fun class, one of the ladies who sometimes instructs came wearing a turkey costume much to our amusement. We had wrist bands with bells on, the Twelve Days of Christmas was done with actions!!!!! I will leave that to your imagination. The coffee in Sainsbury's Café had never tasted better :-))

Then it was to do (good natured) battle after the coffee, the shopping. The store was packed, don't take offence gentlemen, but the men don't normally come with their wives shopping as they have no idea where they are going, and with most of them this morning they really didn't want to be there. However there was lots of good natured banter going on. And the queue of cars leaving or going into get fuel were well mannered in letting cars join the line for the exit It was lovely to come home to peace and quiet.
