So, Finally .....

... we made it to Crimbletown, which has been devised and constructed yet again with huge artistic and technical skill by Longshadow (with considerable support from Aliscotia). The 2024 incarnation is fundraising for Alzheimer's Research UK.

It's an impressive place, with lots and lots to see. I'm pleased to say we managed to find Goofy, and also the tiny versions of Longshadow and Aliscotia themselves. I got a nice photo of them but decided not to post it here in case anyone else is going to visit - I don't want to spoil the fun of searching for them.

We were asked where we thought Crimbletown was - I would have said Germany or Austria, but I like the idea that it could be Scotland and only appear occasionally like Brigadoon.

Admiring The Tree
Although in Bourton we didn't have time to admire the tree again today. After Crimbletown we popped to the Co-op and managed to get a few items on our Christmas shopping list. We're nearly there now.
