Long-tailed tit

When I woke up the sky was completely clear and their was a pretty frost.  Really the time to take pictures, but it was later when I went to the reserve, and greying over.  By 3pm it was raining.

However, before that I did capture this long tailed tit critically surveying me from between a net of branches.  Pretty cute, don't you think?

The rest of the day's been cleaning the house, getting out the Christmas decorations and going into town to pick up all the many ordered goods the supermarket failed to produce in my last delivery before the great event ;(

This weekend we have the Boston terrier with us who stayed in May.  What a little sweetie he is.
