Pre-Solstice Gallivant

Lashing first thing and then it's been a pleasant bright and windy day with the odd downpour. Himself has been busy hanging a new door - the old door revealed to be alarming full of woodworm, possibly active. I'm not sure what I've done but I went up to the stone circle to see how the vibes were gathering - Solstice tomorrow. Sunset was 4.31pm today but by this time, up here on the hill, the sun was already way below the mountain so if I come up again tomorrow will have to be a bit earlier. I hugged a few stones and heard a strange noise off on the mountain - possible a dog or maybe some geese.  Whatever it was, it was suitably otherworldly.
