Collie calendar has arrived. Yay!
Every year Ann's nephew, the very lovely Jack, makes us a 'Collie Calendar'. The tradition started years ago (when Ann owned 'MollyCollie) and her two nephews and niece (were little kids) thought that making a calendar for their Auntie was exciting. Mmmmmmm................. bit like back in the day when we watched 'Blue Peter' and couldn't wait to get the tinsel, coat hangers and candles out!!! Lol I think making a Collie calendar for an aging Auntie is a bit of a chore these days. But Jack does it for us because he knows that it is the only Christmas present that 'Auntie Ann' gets and she absolutely loves her Collie calendars. There's a picture of me & Ann on the front cover (that was 5am on midsummers day when Ann did the sunrise swim) and then for every month of the year there's one of Ann's favourite photos of me in St Ives. Ann loves her Collie calendars almost as much as I love my manky old balls!!!
….............And in other news, I had my normal morning walk around town and along the beach and just look what I spotted (see extras)..................... Another seal. We found a baby one on the beach a few days ago that Ann reported to the Marine Centre cos she was very worried about it. Ann wasn't worried about this one though, because it was near the sea so she thought it would be able to find it's own way back into the water and also it wasn't a baby. She thinks it was more like a teenage seal. I woofed at it from a couple of metres away and then Ann captured me and put me back onto my lead just in case I decided to go chasing. As if? …...........Why would I even want to go chasing, when Mr Seal clearly had no intention of running anywhere.
Here's hoping Mr Seal found his way back into the sea.
