Rainbow

Can’t believe I was at work in Birmingham yesterday. S. picked me up at 11am and we were here by 6:30pm. It was beautiful weather over the hills on the way up - if only December was always so bright.

Slept in a bit today and then hit the task list: Cleaned downstairs, washed and dried the sheets, constructed and dressed the Christmas Tree, took delivery and stacked a tonne of logs, built the bargain Black Friday desk, arranged a refund for the John Lewis light fitting which arrived damaged, briefed the decorator and pondered paint colour, dipped the oil tank, picked up the Morrisons online shop at the village carpark…and then opened a bottle of red and relaxed!
