Panned out

Such a busy and productive day the builder finally turning up - so fireplace surround fixed in chimney sealed as it will not be used for fires.
The granite hearth did not suit so plan B small black square tiles ( to be laid later) - town wiz for a new foam gun.
The lantern blown off for the second time in the recent storm reaffixed with even longer screws.
Let's see if it survives the due next one with forecast Sunday with 107km/ ph peak winds?
Large slate rehung - again from the last storm.
Unearthed the duct and revealed the draw rope which was laid behind the wonky wall to carry services and the new fibre optic telecom is waiting looped by the roadside.
Some tidying up required as usual following a builders visit but should be able to make things presentable before the next visitors arrive.
A bit shattered but.
Managed a tasty dinner - salmon steaks with small new potatoes, baked fennel and broccoli. Along with a glass or two of Friday night red.
Have a great weekend and seasonal holiday you all
