A Christmas miracle
I was part of the Northstowe festivities this evening, playing Christmas carols with the brass group and singers that Simon Fothergill has put together. There were an impressive 12 brass players tonight and the carols were sounding great.
Most impressive were the addition of not just 1, but 2 tuba players, which added a beautiful richness and ooomph to the sound we made.
Now tuba players are hard to come by and 90% of them are male. And yet here we have Margo and Debs, two gorgeous & talented female tuba players who live in Cambridge, who met for the first time tonight, and who are both biology teachers!
What are the odds of that!?
