An ordinary life....

Christmas nails and crochet...

Chaos here this morning.

Alan was up at the crack of dawn as he had a gastro appointment in Dundee at 10am.  Thankfully he was full of joy and finding it all hilarious!  He, D and Christine left at 8.45am.

They had just pulled out of the driveway when the Tesco van arrived along with Lauren to do my Christmas nails.  She was in a hurry as she was heading to her daughter's nativity play straight after, so Alan's support worker Aliyah who was still here from her overnight shift, dealt with the Tesco delivery and put all the fridge and freezer stuff away.  She's a star.

Alan, D and Christine returned and he was still full of joy but his early rise caught up with him and he snoozed whilst watching Polar Express :-)

After lunch D went to Stirling to buy the last of the gifts and I crocheted for an hour before moving to the dining room table and starting to wrap.  For clarification I mean Christmas wrapping, not channeling my inner Missy Elliott :-)

A long time later I was almost at the end but hunger and an achey back put a stop to it for the evening.  An easy decision to get a Chinese takeaway for dinner was made.

Planned to carry on with the crochet after dinner but fell into a deep snooze, which is why this blip is a day late.  Hey ho! :D
