Gourd Grinch

We found this hand painted gourd at Shepherds Old Field when it first opened a few years ago. It still has pride of place on our mantle at Christmas time. 
This morning, I noticed that it was chilly. Our heat pump has stopped working and there was a burnt smell in the house. Mike, our tech, thinks that the motor probably needs to be replaced. He will come here for his first stop tomorrow morning. Fortunately, things are not too bad here as our upstairs heat pump is helping to keep us at about 60 degrees, so far. Fingers crossed for tonight. We have a couple of space heaters. Zoe has claimed one of them (extra is a shot my husband took of her.)
