A Miracle! The Angel' has finished the blanket

The knitting angel Dianne brought the finished mystery blanket over today, after a birthday lunch with her husband we also got to meet.   I hardly have words for this wonderful thing she has done.  It worked out ….serendipity for sure….     .for where she was in her life and she just  got to knit since the 15th  when she picked it up.  (today is the 20th!….it would have taken me weeks! and she wanted me to have then while still alive.    I think we’ll make it to our anniversary tomorrow and try for  Christmas Eve and then who knows.   Knowing a bit about her and the crafts she like to do I think we could have been good friends as well.   I think she might become one of these knitters who can do this for pay….there is a need.    Also I have island friends I’ve made little animals for baby presents for and another new baby just arrived in that family so she’d like to try that too.   (and get paid)     How special is all this?    We’ll be cozy sitting on the couch tonight!  
I used to tell Fiona I'd never live long enough to finish this project.  

Herb and I finished our cookies and Eric and Anne brought bread and coffeecake from the Swedish bakery.      Tired. 

 She makes a new one every year in case you are interested.    I got this in 2021.     Lots of people guessed the name before the end. (extra)
