A last rose
Walking back from the hair salon this morning, this was the only flower in any of the gardens lining the way. I guess it'll be a long time before they return.
I got the continuous glucose monitor, but setting it up took forever and I just hope that I won't have to go through that again. I need to replace the sensor every two weeks and switch arms as well. It's been interesting watching the sensor graphing the changes in glucose level.
I was really tired after that visit, so I passed on the gas station, and only when I got home did I realize that I'd forgotten to pick up the new bag of cat food for Sylvie that's waiting at Petsmart. I'll have to stop in there on my way home from dialysis; fortunately, they have curbside pick-up. That's one relic of the pandemic I'm grateful is still with us.
