Auckland

We collected M&S from the airport and they settled at the hotel while R and I went for a walk. It was very windy today which made sitting at an outdoor cafe or similar quite difficult, but fairly close to this large Christmas tree, we found a bar which was slightly more sheltered. Even then the wind drove us inside eventually. All of the others joined us there later and we had a good time chatting about various things. S recognised the bar owner Krishna, and they worked out people they knew in common.
After leaving there we ate at a Mexican restaurant and then went back to the hotel.
