Tales of spring
Mr A's astonishingly expensive white lilac is showing good signs of leafbuds. Nice to see. Not a very good photograph, but I only had my phone on me as we were going shopping and wasn't going back in to seek out my camera and try and put a more appropriate lens on it.
The last working day of the year. I've put the out of office on. I need 10 days of respite.
A couple of parcels arrived. A package of clothing from the Seasalt sale (a regular small indulgence at this time of the year) and a package of goodies from L&L. More consumption! Never mind.
Mr A was better, but not completely fixed. I can always tell he's getting better when he becomes argumentative again.... I, on the other hand, felt pants as I had a terrible night of sleep on Thursday night. Fitbit thought I'd slept fine because I had lain still. I knew I had pretty much lain awake until 4am or later. I was ok until mid afternoon, but by 7pm I was drooping so fast I passed a glass of wine to Mr A for him to drink and went to bed. That was not as pleasant an experience as it sounds as we had forgotten to put hot water bottles in the bed, but I settled down soon enough for some restorative sleep.
