Day 10; Family comings and goings

From left to right we have; Varnika, Dan, V’s mum, V’s uncle, Yakshi (V’s cousin, married to Elvis the baker), V’s auntie, Manon (V’s brother), and Anniemay.

Mum, uncle and auntie have just arrived from Delhi and Manon is leaving to go back on tour with his band.  So we all get together for a meal to say hello and goodbye. 

It’s a bittersweet moment because Varnika and her brother are close - when she was starting out as an artist in Delhi, she would supplement her income by playing guitar on some of his solo gigs.

He may be coming to Europe in the Spring, so we might get to catch up with him then.
