Yes, I am wearing long socks with my running capris. 
No, it is not the most flattering shot I've ever taken
And no, I don't care, although I did get a funny look when I walked into the paper shop on the way home.

One of my local Parkruns is a full off road, two laps round an official cross country course. It was absolute mayhem in the mud and rain this morning, ice skates would have had more grip. The first finisher was a good 2 minutes slower than the usual first place, I was about 6 minutes behind my usual time. Some of it was down to lung capacity after my bug but most of it was the complete lack of traction.

Himself shot home and then went to football (leaving quite a lot of the park behind in the shower it seems) while I braved the local town for a bit of stocking (from Santa, not for any sort of other kinky Christmas Eve activities) shopping.  It will all be a bit random this year I think. 

There's obviously no food in the house that can be eaten before Wednesday so I think it may be taken away curry tonight. I'm not complaining.
