Sorry!

I’m feeling sorry for M as he woke up with a sore throat this morning and it’s developing into a cold. We were due to go out and enjoy our joint Christmas present this evening…dinner at Morston Hall. Although M doesn’t feel too bad at the moment we thought it unfair to potentially spoil someone else’s Christmas by passing on germs.

It’s rather disappointing as we booked it months ago. So we’re staying in and have begun a ‘best of 7 games’ competition playing the board game ‘Sorry!
We’re level at the moment having won one game each.

By the way, I was fortunate enough to win the competition for best table decoration in our ladies Christmas craft challenge (see yesterday’s blip). I was delighted but now have to think up a craft challenge for next year’s contest!
