Space Age

Is it just me or does the dome of the art gallery have a slightly space age look to it? Perhaps a 1950s cartoon view of the space age, I could imagine the Mekon emerging from the cupola at any moment.

We stopped here briefly for a coffee on our way to lunch at Poldino’s. The restaurant was not overly busy considering this is the last Saturday before Christmas. Our final stop was at Malmaison for a glass of wine on the way home. Unlike the restaurant, the bar was very busy, and certainly had a pre-Christmas air to it. Likewise the buses this afternoon were much busier than usual.
