Being eyed up by a male blackcap
I had the back door open hoping the birds would come to the feeder despite my presence. But it was only the occasional tit and a robin that ventured up close. In the robin's case it was only to hoover up droppings from the feeder as it can't navigate the cage su=urrounding the pellets.
This blackcap looked on from afar, that is about ten feet away from the feeder on a branch of the goat willow. I always like when a bird looks straight at the lens, and me.
