Afternoon clouds

Rainy morning but managed a dry walk late morning.  

I'd withdrawn the bird feeders for a while as the pesky tree rodents were consuming most of the bird food and even taking away the feeders.  To stop the feeder removal I've resorted to putting metal bulldog clips on the end of the upturned hooks of the bird feeding station which has worked. 

It wasn't long after restoring the feeders that the birds resumed feeding.  Lovely to see a male blackcap among the tits: blue, great, coal and long-tailed, blackbirds, robins and starlings.
