The shortest day

Is done! Light is coming back from today.

We had a lovely, pottering kind of day. Boys played, I did the food shop and went to the library, husband finished fitting the oven and hob!!! Three months of limited cooking, very much looking forward to some slightly better food. 

The boys and I popped over to see Granny and Grandpa this afternoon, which was fine until the youngest got bored. But we did help finish decorating their tree and also timed it perfectly for some freshly made mince pies! 

Pizza and the cbeebies panto at dinner - love that the boys were happy to watch it, we loved seeing the presenters in panto.
