Blowing a Hoolie

Not enough distance of open water for the waves to have built up to any great height but the wind was whipping off the spray when any encountered rocks.  Further off shore, white horses were very much in evidence.

Local weather station recorded max gust of over 40 mph so not at a serious strength. Nevertheless, we are under a Met. Office 'Yellow Warning' for wind until 9pm tomorrow.

My viewpoint is the car park at Pettycur Harbour, Fife.
The island in the Forth, seen here on the horizon, is Inchkeith.
