The Young'uns at Conway Hall

The Young'uns Christmas tour arrived in London this evening. Last year they played Cecil Sharp House near Camden Town.  . This year they were at the Conway Hall, home of the Ethical Society and dating from the 1920s, in Red Lion Square, Holborn. They were in excellent voice, as usual, and the audience was definitely in a seasonal singalong.mood. It will be their 20th anniversary next year and they'll be back in London in April, so that’s another date for my diary. We visited Dr Johnson's House in Red Lion Court off Fetter Lane/Fleet Street earlier. The extra is of one of the rooms in the house.
