A "mas"

A "mas" is a traditional Provencal farmhouse. The mas of Provence faces to the south to offer protection against the mistral wind coming from the north.
Those old buildings made of stones are now renovated and transformed into comfortable family homes, fresh and cool during the hot summer months.
