New book.

I just started into this new book. The author is very varied in her work and our library has a few on the shelves. Makes it easy to choose a new one.

You can see the scar from knee surgery early in January. I now have a dog on my lap. Champ is a nice boy and likes cuddles.

Coughing not as often as before but I did cough for about half an hour straight and have chest pains when I do. Awful. I’m over it. I have a GP appointment for the morning so will be pleased to have her listen to it again. Not that she can do anything I don’t think. Rest. Panadol. Fluids.

An old school friend rang this morning. We talked for an hour and a half. She was driving from Canberra to Sydney but had to stop to recharge. Ha ha. We needed coffee too.

I made ‘old’ vegetable soup. Enough for 12 meals. Yum.
