Derelict fence and fence post

That's the trouble with wood - it deteriorates unless it's teak which seems to be indestructible.

I spent too long on my feet today, making spinach and feta triangles for us to take to my nephew and NIL on Christmas Day. At least we're not hosting. I'll be glad when the whole Christmas thing is over. 

I also decorated the Christmas tree, a small fig the Resident Gardener has growing in a pot.

Then the Little Family came for dinner which M cooked. Margot was being the wild child. Now I'm in bed, exhausted.
