How bloody much?

Those who know me well will know I whole heartedly enjoy a goblet of wine! I decided I would sample a bit of this fine produce in Ambleside! Those of you who don't know Ambleside... It's smack bang in the middle of the Lake District where I live, and is extremely posh! (That's a key part of the story!) I treat myself to a steak in Ambleside; well why not, it is the 6 weeks holiday after all! I ordered a large glass of red to go with it that is here pictured! Upon the retrieval of my receipt I nearly fainted! This glass of wine cost, wait for it: £7.95!!!! I very nearly opted to give it back to the barman, £7.95!!! You could get a mediocre bottle for that price!!! £7.95
