Christmas in Chartres, France

Never been here before and it’s a very pretty and interesting place. After a journey from Newhaven to Dieppe it took about 2.5 hours to get here and locate the underground car park in quite a busy traffic period.

Staying in one of the oldest hotels which has a couple of restaurants. This is me wearing my very sparkly top which is going to be worn a lot over the festive period. Christmas champagne cocktail before I ate a plate of very big snails which were a bit tricky to hold in the grabby tool. I’ve not had an issue with that before so I must have lost the knack !
